The exact specs of the LEAF are still under development. It does, however, have 100% torque at 0 RPM!

What kind of acceleration does it have?

Most of these funcs are electronic, without fluids or motor oil. It will have brake fluid and washer fluid.

We expect the battery to have a lifespan of about 5 years. By 6 years, it will have decreased to about 80% capacity.

The battery is actually located under the driver's seat. It has been tested for impact safety.

How does driving in cold weather effect the performance and battery life?

Cold won't affect performance directly. But a/c and heater will affect the range a bit, like in a gas car.
